As a consequence of the bus tragedy in Switzerland, the town of Lommel was deeply affected. Twenty two children and six adults died in the accident, including six Dutch children. On Wednesday 21st March 2012 the victims were remembered in a special ceremony. The Belgian Royal couple and the Dutch Crown-Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima along with members of the Dutch and Belgian governments were present.
At the time Chandelierrental was asked to provide chandeliers as decoration for the ceremony. Members of our team installed a total of 8 Type-3 chandeliers in De Soevereign in Lommel. The ceremony was broadcast live by a number of international TV stations. Ceremony decorations.
