What makes our products premium?
Unlike normal glass, the crystal pendants are hand-made for chandeliers and contain sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate and lead oxide. These are added to molten glass and fused at 3,200 °C before forming the light rays that create wonderful prismatic colors. Full lead crystals contain 24 percent lead oxide, with the highest qualities even containing 30 percent.
Consequently, cheaper crystals contain a low content of lead oxide which makes the crystals dull and grey. The surface of these crystals is also non-reflective, while the crystals in our chandeliers are top of the range with a strong reflected illumination and sparkle. In the picture below you clearly see the difference between the crystals. On the left you see our high quality crystal pendants. On the right the cheaper and lower quality crystal pendants.
